BeagleBone is an open source hardware single board computer having OMAP3530 System on chip (SoC). It is a board having all basic functions of a computer. Board was used by professionals for its designing and was introduced to various projects in educational institutes. It includes an ARM Cortex A-8 CPU a TMS320C64x and DSP for video and audio decoding, and an Imagination Technologies Power SGX530 GPU to provide accelerated 2D and low power consumption. BeagleBone black is an open source development board for ARM Cortex A-8 processor.
